To analyze this further, please provide us the following details:

1. ESXi version
2. The OS of the VM(s) you are backing up
3. Manual snapshot result

To check the result of the manual snapshot of the VM, follow the given steps:

1. In the vSphere Client, select Snapshot by right-clicking on the required VM and click Take Snapshot.

2. Disable Snapshot the virtual machine's memory check & enable the Quiesce guest file system (Needs VMware Tools installed).

3. Click on Take snapshot and check whether it is successful.

If the manual snapshot fails, the issue is with VMware. If the snapshot works but the backups fail, then contact our support team at vembu-support@vembu.com.
