I had to change the host to Server 2016 and have not gotten a good backup since. I have adjusted the SGConfiguration.conf values from 1800 to 3600 and back with out any luck.

I had to change the host to Server 2016 and have not gotten a good backup since. I have adjusted the SGConfiguration.conf values from 1800 to 3600 and back with out any luck.
The dashboard is now complaining about: Vembu BDR server requires Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable package. Refer this article KB120023 to install Visual C++ 2017 redistributable package manually on the server machine.
That update doesn't apply to Server 2016, but I made sure the appropriate Visual C++ 2017 was installed, but the error doesn't go away.
