I think the UI hang issue might occur if you could use the unsupported version of the browser to access the BDR backup server UI. Can you check the browser version and if you are having a lower version, you may upgrade it to the latest version. Also, make sure you have the minimum RAM and CPU available in the backup server machine as per the guidelines. Click here to know about the system requirements.

Also, you may try to restart the Vembu BDR and PostgreSQL services in the BDR backup server machine and then try to access the web UI.
