Our engineering team had fixed this issue by replacing the sender email ID instead of "root user" and applied the same to your BDR backup server. Also, this fix has been integrated into BDR Suite v3.9.0 Update1 GA release. So, if you are facing the same in other BDR backup servers, you can upgrade them to the v3.9.0 Update1 release to fix this issue.
