It has been less than a year since a partnership was officially announced between VMware and Amazon which has now been made available on AWS. With the main motivation of providing easy Cloud Management, the partnership between the two was announced in the VMworld Conference held in Las Vegas.

VMware Cloud on AWS is a service through which users can run their applications across vSphere based environments. Zero Infrastructure Lifecycle Management :

  • Users can now initiate SDDC Cluster ( Software – Defined – Datacenter ) on AWS Cloud through web-based APIs. SDDC software updates will be delivered by VMware
