Suspending a Client Side Restore (Restore initiated from the client)
Overview
Client Side Restore (Restore initiated from the client) process can be suspended either from the backup server or from the client, but can be resumed only from the client side. The suspended restore process will remain suspended till it is resumed from the client again.
How to get here in the StoreGrid Web Console?
In the top menu of Backup Client, select: "Restore -> List Backup For Restore". page.
Suspending a Client Side Restore (Restore initiated from the client)
To suspend a Client Side Restore, go to 'Restore -> List Backup For Restore' page in the client web console. If restore is in progress, click the 'Suspend Restore' icon displayed under 'Actions' against that backup schedule to suspend it. To resume the restore operation which is suspended either from the client or server, click the 'Resume Restore' icon displayed under 'Actions' against that backup schedule.
Client Side restore can be suspended from the server-side web console as well. Go to 'Server Management -> Customer Management > Customer [customer name] > Client [client name] > List of Backup Schedules from client' page in the backup server's web console. If restore is in progress, click the 'Suspend Client Side Restore' icon displayed under 'Actions' against that backup schedule to suspend it.
Troubleshooting Tips

Client initiated restore can be suspended from the backup server only if the client is running StoreGrid version 2.3 or higher.
