How is MSPEU usage calculated ?
A StoreGrid client running on a Desktop OS needs 12 MSPEUs (that's 1 SPEU) every year.
A StoreGrid client running on a Server OS needs 24 MSPEUs (that's 2 SPEUs) every year.
Clients using the 'advanced exchange & SQL plugin' will use 12 additional MSPEUs (that's 1 SPEU) every year.
For Example
A licensed backup server holding 120 MSPEU licenses (which is, in effect, 10 SPEU licenses) can deploy clients in any one of the following configurations:
10 Desktop OS clients for 12 months
5 Server OS clients for 12 months
6 Desktop OS clients & 2 Server OS clients for 12 months
4 Desktop OS clients & 2 Server OS clients with 2 advanced exchange/SQL pug-ins for 12 months
