Move Client Backup Report

Overview

This section reports the status of moving the backup data to a new location.

How to get here in the StoreGrid Web Console?
 In the top menu, select: "Server Admin->Group Management" and click on the "Group Name" in this group row. This lists the clients under the group. Go to "Client Report" action corresponding to the client name and click on the "Move Client backup(s) report " tab..

Move Client Backup Report

  • Backup Name: Backup name for which the location is to be changed.

  • Start Time: Time at which the process of moving the backup data started.

  • End Time: Time at which the process of moving the backup data ended.

  • Remarks: Success or Failure.

  • Old Backup Location: The old location for the backup.

  • New Backup Location: The new location for the backup.

  • Warning: The following warning messages may be shown if the move backup fails.

    1. Lack of available space: ‘Space is not available to move the backup. Please choose another location’.
      StoreGrid checks for available space in the new location individually for all the backups. If sufficient space is available, StoreGrid will move the backup data for that backup. If sufficient space is not available for a particular backup, it reports an error and then moves on to the next backup.

    2. Insufficient permission: ‘The backup could not be moved if it doesn’t have enough permission. Please check the permissions’.
