Diaz Nesamoney
Diaz Nesamoney is the founder and CEO of Jivox, a web-based video advertising service enabling businesses to communicate their products and services to a micro-targeted audience in a more customized & relevant way than traditional mass advertising, internet banners and search engines. Before founding Jivox, he founded Celequest, raised over $20M in venture capital, and served as its CEO until early 2007 when the company was acquired by Cognos Corporation. Celequest introduced the market’s first BI appliance, a disruptive innovation that led to its acquisition by Cognos.
Prior to Celequest, he was Co-Founder, President and Chief Operating Officer at Informatica (NASDAQ:INFA), which he took from a startup to a publicly traded company in 1999 - with a market capitalization of over a billion dollars. Informatica pioneered data integration software as a category and is now the market leader with over $400M in revenue.
Diaz is a trustee of the American India Foundation, a leading international development organization charged with the mission of accelerating social and economic change in India
He holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India.
Tony Thomas
Tony is a founder of Applibase, Inc. a web 2.0 data integration company that created innovative technology for mashups and RSS integration. Applibase was recently acquired by VTiger, an open source software company that provides a widely used, completely open source CRM product. Previously, Tony was a founder and CEO (for the first four years) of AdventNet, Inc., a successful vendor of a wide range of networking software products, and more recently the Zoho line of cloud computing applications.
Tony started his career in AT&T Bell Labs in Holmdel, New Jersey. He has a Bachelors degree in Engineering from IIT Madras, and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
Arvin Babu
Arvin Babu is a Partner at Greylock Partners, where he is focused on early stage company investments in India.
Prior to Greylock, Arvin co-founded two Greylock backed companies: Perfigo and Brience.
Arvin was CEO at Perfigo, the leader in network admission control (NAC). Following Perfigo's acquisition by Cisco in 2004, he remained at Cisco for over two years during which time, he led Cisco's NAC appliance business unit and propelled it to the to the #1 position (in terms of market share). Before Perfigo, Arvin served as CTO at Brience, a leading mobile software developer. Prior to Brience, Arvin was CEO at Webvibe, a developer of application middleware. Webvibe was acquired by KPMG Consulting in 1999;after the acquisition, Arvin took on the role of CTO at KPMG Consulting where he led KPMG's eBusiness technology initiatives.
Arvin holds an MS in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from India.
